Annual Call For Volunteers for Pride

Note from Tony: I'm planning to help set up and then tear down the Leather Realm portion of the San Diego Pride Festival this weekend.  It's VERY rewarding work, and if there is a bunch of us, then the time flies by quickly, and the work is shared by many hands.  

Plus, people who volunteer gain entry to the Pride Festival for free!

It's also a great way for big-hearted men to get noticed in the process of contributing to the greater good.  This means that the folks who work hard, share responsibility and get along well in the process gain better chances to be invited to enjoy private events, get introduced to prospective playmates, and other nice benefits that arise suddenly and surprisingly as time goes by. That's just how the world works - Virtue should be rewarded, preferably with some extra helpings of VICE!

Here are the details below. If you would like to help out, please reply to papatony at mac dot com RIGHT AWAY, with your legal name as shown on your ID, email address, and what day you want to get into Pride for free.

The Leather Realm needs help.

The Leather Realm will be set up at the bottom of the loop, Marston Point in Balboa Park (starting from 6th & Laurel - the map above is rotated, with north on the left).

What you get for volunteering for 5 hours for the Leather Realm in any capacity in 1 day: 1. Free volunteer admission into Pride for one day. (if you work ten hours you get two days) (Entrance will be at the Pride Volunteer gate at 6th and Juniper) 2. Hospitality area to rest and eat (Some food provided) 3. Thank you POOL party, Aug 4th.

We will need your legal name as shown on your id, email address, and what day you want to get into Pride for free.

SET UP (just show up, willing to help, and folks will direct you - I will probably see you there Thursday, Friday, and Sunday):             

Thursday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Friday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m. (Vendors can come in at this time too.)

TEAR DOWN:            Sunday 8 p.m. (Bring wire-cutters and a flashlight, if you have any).

If you are driving in to bring things home Sunday, get in the line around 7pm or the line will be too long and it will take you forever to get to the bottom of the hill.

12 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday
