How to Get the Most Out of the FMSD Calendar of Events

We are averaging at least twenty events per month that would be of interest to gay fetishmen in the San Diego area. In the old days, we had no way of knowing what was coming up, because we don't hang out in the same venues, like we did in the days before the Internet. We also no longer read the gay newspapers.

So, I created the FMSD email list, calendar and so forth. That way, our brothers can feel connected with the larger community. It's working great!

MY NEWSLETTER

Every week, I send out a compilation of interesting news, links, photos and updates.  It has a lot of entertainment value. I get zero payment for any of this - It is not a sales tool. You can sign up for the emailed newsletter here. You can also follow it on Facebook, or on Twitter. I use the dated items of the newsletter to update the calendar:

MONTH AT A GLANCE

You can look at the month-by-month calendar of upcoming events by clicking here.  That's a good link to bookmark in your web-browser.

LIST OF EVENTS

If you go to that same calendar, and then click "Agenda" on the upper right, you will see a nice, concise list of upcoming events, starting from today's date.

ADDING A SINGLE EVENT TO YOUR COMPUTER'S CALENDAR

If you click on the name of any event on the calendar, you will see a "copy to my calendar" link. Many people seem to like this feature.

GETTING DEEPER INFORMATION

Every event has a LOT more detailed information hidden inside, with pictures and links.  Just click any event, and then "more details", and then click on the link that starts with "http://goo.gl/".
